New Communications and Development Coordinator Selected
We are pleased to announce that Breanne Johnson will begin working with GRRL on Monday,July 16.
From the official announcement to GRRL staff: Breanne "is a St. Kate's graduate with a bachelor's
degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Nonprofit Strategies and Operations.She has several
years'experience working with their telefund as well as with several other nonprofits. Most
importantly, she is hard working, passionate about building relationships and is eager to work with our
mission-driven team. She says she is excited to collaborate with us and looks forward to beginning her
position."
GRRL Boosts E-Newsletters
Our communications team has been working hard to improve GRRL's outreach to patrons. Toward this
end,we've been sending out e-Newsletters every month with information on new programs, services,
and collection materials. Recent topics included Binge Boxes of DVDs grouped by topic or series,the
Summer Reading Program,Axis 360 e-books, and Bruce the Bug Guy programs.
The subscriber list for our e-newsletter continues to grow, increasing from 1,228 to 2,530 in the last
year, with an unsubscribe rate of less than 3%.
