REGULAR SEHI-MONTHLY fvlEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF ELK RIVER
HELD IN THE COm~CIL CH~mERS OF THE CITY OFFICE BLDG.
November 15, 1976 at 7:30 PM.
The Regular Semi-Monthly Meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order by
Hayor Lundberg on November 15, 1976 at 7:30 PM. in the Council Chambers of the City
office building. Members present Hayor Lundberg, Councilmen Konop and otto.
The minutes of the November 1, 1976 regular meeting were reviewed as there were no
additions or corrections the minutes were approved as printed. The minutes of the
November 3, 1976 canvassing board meeting were reviewed as there were no additions or
corrections the minutes were approved as printed.
Moved by Councilmember Konop and seconded by Councilmember otto approving the resolution
"Applying for State of Minn. Land Use Planning Grant Program". Motion unanimously carried
by a vote of 3-0. A copy of the resolution is attached.

The Council also reviewed Mr. Myron Burquest request for re-embursement of $30.00 for
sewer line roto-rootered at the Faith Fellowship parish house. The request was denied
because the City was not first notified of the problem if they had been notified they
would have discovered the problem and this expense would not have occured.
Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Konop approving and accepting the
contract for 1977 with Authorized Consultants for the General Government and Liquor Stores
computerized accounting system for $2,700 a year for General Government and $3,000.00 a
year for the Liquor Stores. Hotion unanimously carried by a vote of 3-0.
Hoved by Councilmember Konop~and seconded by Councilmember Otto approving the paying of
the Liquor Store bills for payment as listed. Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 3-0.
Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Konop approving that stop signs
be installed on both sides of the streets at Upland Ave. and the service road and
also at the intersection of School Street and Proctor Ave. Motion unanimously carried by
a vote of 3-0.
Councilmember Syring inattendance at 8:45 PM.
Mayor Lundberg gave a progress report on the consolidation.
No further business the meeting adjourned at 9:30 PH.

ELECTION OF NOVEMBER 2, 1976'
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River
as follows:
1. The persontbelow named are hereby appointed judges for the
City Regular Election to be held in the City of Elk River,
County of Sherburne, State of Minnesota, on Tuesday, November
2, 1976. The judges appointed, and voting place wherein they
shall serve and the hours of voting are as follows:
A. PRECINCT - Elk River City Hall
Main Street & Hwy. 10
To serve from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and to completion of count.
