05-06-1988 ERMU MIN UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING
May 6 , 1988

1) The meeting was called to order at 7 : 30 P.M. By President
Dill .
2) Motion by Mr. Tralle seconded by Mr . Zabee to approve the minutes
of the previous meeting as presented and distributed. Motion
carried .
3) Motion by Mr . Zabee seconded by Mr . Tralle to make the following
adjustments in the employment agreement effective June 1, 1988 :
1. Wages for all outside workers to be increased by an amount
equal to 5.5% of the present linemans wage.
2 . Increase the utility contribution for medical insurance by
$10 .00 per month.
3. Increase the wage rate of the Lead Lineman to 3 . 5% above the
rate for a journeyman Lineman.
4 . The Utilities will furnish life insurance to 2 .5 times the
employees base annual wage to $85,000 maximum.
5 . Commencing June 1, 1988, and every June 1 thereafter, each
employee will be credited with one day of paid personal leave
to be taken at employees discretion with the approval of
management. This leave is noncumulative.
4) Motion by Mr . Tralle seconded by Mr . Zabee to have the General
Manager write a letter to the City Administrator expressing the
Commissioners concern regarding outlets on the trees in the
downtown area. Motion carried.
5) Glenn Sundeen updated the Commissioners on the status of the
construction projects and new services .
6) The next meeting was set for Thursday June 2, 1988 at 7 : 30 P.M.
7) Motion by Mr. Tralle seconded by Mr . Zabee to adjourn. Motion
carried .
