01-09-1990 ERMU MIN COMMISSION MEETING
January 9, 1990
Tuesday 7: 00 P.M.
Present Were: James Tralle President
George Zabee Vice Chairman
Jim Simpson Trustee
Bill Birrenkott General Manager
Others Present: Glenn Sundeen Line Superintendent
1) The meeting was called to order at 7 : 00 P.M. by President Tralle.
2) Motion by Mr . Simpson, seconded by Mr . Tralle to appoint George
Zabee as President, Jim Simpson as Vice Chairman and Mr . Tralle
as Trustee for 1990 . Motion carried.
3) Motion by Mr . Simpson, seconded by Mr . Tralle to approve the
minutes of the previous meeting as presented and distributed.
The motion carried .
4) Motion by Mr . Simpson, seconded by Mr . Tralle to authorize the
General Manager to approach City Administrator to amend ordinance
to encompass home security systems. Motion carried .
5) Six quotations for a new pick-up truck were evaluated. Motion by
Mr . Tralle, seconded by Mr . Simpson to purchase the specified
vehicle from Elk River Ford in the amount of $13, 937. Motion
carried .
6) The Line Superintendent reviewed the status of construction
projects and operations with the commissioners .
7) Motion by Mr . Simpson, seconded by Mr . Zabee to charge off the
list of customers which will be attached to and become a part of
these minutes. Motion carried .
8) The next meeting was set for Tuesday, February 13, 1990 at
7: 00 P.M.
9) Motion by Mr . Simpson, seconded by Mr . Zabee to adjourn. Motion
carried. Meeting adjourned at 8: 30 P.M.
