UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING
January. 7 , 1991
4 : 00 P.M.
Present Were: George Zabee President
Jim Simpson Vice Chairman
James Tralle Trustee
Bill Birrenkott General Manager
Others Present: Glenn Sundeen
1) The meeting was called to order at 4 : 00 P.M. by President Zabee.
2) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Zabee to appoint Mr. Simpson
as the President for the year 1991. The motion carried
unanimously.
3) Motion by Mr. Simpson, seconded by Mr. Zabee to appoint Mr. Tralle
as Vice Chairman for the year 1991. The motion carried
unanimously.
4) Motion by Mr. Tralle seconded by Mr. Zabee to approve the minutes
of the December 7th meeting as distributed. The motion carried.
5) Motion by Mr. Simpson seconded by Mr. Zabee to approve the minutes
of the December 10 meeting as distributed. Motion carried.
6) The General Manager reported that there will be a meeting with the
City Staff to arrive at a joint street lighting policy.
7) The General Manager reported that a final agreement has been
reached with Anoka Electric Cooperative for the orderly transfer
of service territory between the utilities.
8) The Line Superintendent reported on the status of construction
projects and other operating conditions.
9) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Zabee to pay the Water
operator additional pay of 25 cents per hour whenever he performs
the duties of water foreman in the event of absence of the water
foreman. The motion carried,
10) The next meeting was set for Monday February 4th 1991 at 4 : 00 P.M.
at the Utilities office.
11) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Zabee to adjourn. The
motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5: 05 P.M.
