Meeting called to order b;r the Fres.at S oClock P.K.
Thi~ meeting,was called for the purpose of specifying and
fix1ng the ffi1nimum amount of the penalties and interect
.heretofore accrued and hereafter to accrue upom special
assessments for local improvements levied by said Village
Council upon real estate in the Village of Elk River,fui~
which have been heretofore certified to the Count" Audita r
of said Sherburne County which became delinquent prior to
the year 1~28,and which are held by the State.
The real estate abovementioned~and under consideration at
this time is situated om 1~in st,at the corner of Park st,
known as Auditors sub division :No" A vacant Lot
The Co , Audi tor present-ed a Statement of the delinl;luent
taxes and penalties that have accrued which amouhted to
approxirrately 400,G0 the most of said amount being for
water main tax which had never been paid.
After some diseussiond the following Resolution was offer~
Resolution:-L.L.Bishop a member of the Village Council
Resolution in of the Village of Elk Hiver,Minnesota,offered the following
regard to the resolution and moved its adoption, which motion was duly

Be it resolved by the Village Council of thh Village
~i~iI1% of Elk River minnesota, that the said Village Coun-
cil of Elk River does hereby fix and specify One Hundred
per cent 0100)% as the mininum amount which shall be accepte~
by the Count~r Auditor and Count;r Treasurer of the County of
Sherburne kinnesota under and pursuant to the provisions of
Chapter 4 i ~ of Laws' of lvlinnesota 1 q29 ,as amended by Section
4 of Chapter 415 of Laws of ~irillesota 1929,in payment of
penalties and interest accrued or to accrue upon special
assessments assessed and levied b,r the said Village Council
of Elk River'.lv.innesota,upon real ~state in said Village of
Elk River,which have been certified to the Co~ty Auditor
of said County and which became delinl;luent pr10r to the
year 1q28 and ~hich are held by the State,or which are
included in the taxes for the years 1q2~-1927- and 1928.

The roll being called upon the adoption of said Resolution
therwere.Yeas Joe'Ludvic L.L.Bishop W.F.Chadbourne and
Thomaa E.Beck-Nays,none.
Resolution declared adopted by the Pres.
On motion the ~resident of the Council was instructed to
to ~ake such arrangement as he deems proper in regard to
the settlementdwith the parties who hol~ a title to the
