The bids recd,for the work were so much in excess of the estimate given by the ~ngineer in charge of the jobfand certain changes in the location of said Sewer having been desired,a1so the lateness of the season,were all taken inm consDderation, finally a l,.otion was made, seconded and eclared carried,that all the bids be rejected, ~he Council withholding further action until the people can agree as to what the:' want, A Petition was presented siGned b~T 5 residents on Lain St. asking that another Street Li~ht be Installed on kain St. between Oak and Park St. Unfinished All bids Lejected Street Lil~ht to be Installed. hoved. seconded and declared. carried that their re~uest be granted and the Power & Light Co,proceed to install the . same i~~ed.iatel~ L.G.Kelson of the Power ~ Light Co,asked the Council for Dermission to set teml'orar~T Doles for Christmas decoration at the Park and streets.Request granted, The COY.ltract for power at. the PUI:1D house, havine expired in l~ov.1ast :rhe Co uncil asked the ~ower 5: LiGht Co.to continue on the same terms until June when the Street liGhting Contract also eX.I?ires,l..~r,.L.Gi...elson eave consent to the proposition . e e e The Clerk presented a report of the Finances of t~e VillaGe to date.showine a deficiency in the Poor ~und The followinG Resolution was offer-ed.
