The Sewer question referred to in last lliLeting of' the
Council, as postponed to this meeting as th~rewas onl~T
thr~e present at the time, was taken up and c'-isposed of
after a prolonged discussion.
The bids recd,for the work were so much in excess of the
estimate given by the ~ngineer in charge of the jobfand
certain changes in the location of said Sewer having been
desired,a1so the lateness of the season,were all taken inm
consDderation, finally a l,.otion was made, seconded and
eclared carried,that all the bids be rejected,
~he Council withholding further action until the people
can agree as to what the:' want,
A Petition was presented siGned b~T 5 residents on Lain St.
asking that another Street Li~ht be Installed on kain St.
between Oak and Park St.

on the same terms until June when the Street liGhting

Fund to General Fund to the Poor Fund. .

Considerable discussion was had in rec;ard to the care of
the poor,and also in regard to the ~aterworks business
