The Librarv Board ladies asked for a donation to purchase
more books~for the Librar~.after some discussion a motion
was made seconded and declared carried that the sum of
$100.CC be apDropriated from the J...ibra!'~' Fund for that
purpose.
rhe office of Village ~~rshal and Pumper having become
vacant owing to the death of ~illiam 11iff,it became
necessary )0 appoint his successor? Several applications
having been made for the job.
After looking the situation over A motionwao made seconded
and declared carried that 1~.Charles Nelson be appointed
Village 1~rshal and PumDer at the same salary as before
given viz: 110.0e Der month.~75.0~ for 1~rshal and ~35,OO
for pumper.
Frank T.Hhit~ Villa~e Atty.Presented the final papers of
purchase of ~.~ of J...otl-Auditors sub_division 1\0.3 Village
of Elk River .
Nr. Chester Baile:r hegister of Deeds havinS been to Clui te an
expense in connection with this purchase, i t wa.~ moved and
carried that an order be drawn on the treas in the sum of
