This meetine was called for the pur~ose of considering
the repairs to the Water Tank.

following proposition in regard to what was needed

Articles of agreement
This agreement made and entered into this 24th,day of
1~rch 1930,bt ana between the Village of Elk Riverkinn,
parties of t~Q first part and Lane Bros.of kinneapolis
fuinn,parties of the Second 'nart witnesseth-

Whereas said party of the first part desires to
employ part~T of the second part to superintend the
flushing out of water mains also furnish relief valve
so that the mains can be flushed by direct pressure,
For the above mentioned service the cost of

labor and expense superintending is to be paid for
by the party of the first part to the party of the
second part according to pa~ roll as work progresses.

It is further agreed that if there is and further
work which the said part;T of the first part shall desire
to have done,said second party agrees to do said work
for th:: actual of labor', ma terial and other' expenses
plus a commission of amountine to 35% and the second .
party also aerees to said work in a good and workmanllke
manner, furnish tools and apr;lianc€s', carry Insurance Poli
cy D.S'391208 to protect the party ~f the first part
against any accident which might happen to workmen

After some discussion as to the amount of repairs that
the Lane Bros. were to perform, it was 3.t:;reed that onl;, th
