Street Light at Grove & Princeton Street REGULAR MeetiIl.2" of t~~ Village- Council The regular monthly meeting of the V1llageCouncil was held at the Council room on monday July 7th,1930 Thos,E.Beck L. L..Bishop Geo,Cornelius Joe ' Ludvik W.F.Chadbourne e ilres, Trustees Clerk ;~ Mrs,Hemstead. &lvirs,C.W..Guptij1 representing the community Club and. a Mr,LindstDmID representing the ~eptune ~eter Co.' , Meeting called to order by the President at 8 oClock P.M. The:'minuets of the last regular meeting read and appro_ ved. +' The community Club through their Represent~ves asked for a donation of 25,00 to aid in keeping up the Park at the M.E.Church Om motion duly made seconded and declared carried the Clerk was instructed to draw an order on the General Fund in favor of the Community Club in the sum of 25,00 Mr.J.W.Clark Proprieter of the New Tourest Park came before the Council and asked that a Street Light be installed at the entrance of the Park.after some discussion in regard to the matter the Pres.was instruc ted to interview the Power & Light CO,in regard to the matter Mr.A1denTaylor and Charles Nelson asked the Council to install a Street Light at the intersection of Grove & Princeton streets,On motion duly made seconded and declared carried their request was granted e Police signal On motion Mr.W.H.Clementsand Charles Nelson were light appointed a committee to locate and install a Police ordered signal light to be operated from the Tel,Office, ,,. Deputy Marshal at Tourest Park It was deemed necessary to have a special Police at the new Tourest Park;On motion duly made seconded and decla red carried thatMr,W.H.Gilson be appointed special deputy marshal at a salary of 1,00 per yea.. Some discussion was had in reference to Sidewalks and StOr1J1 sewer.It was finally decided that the Street Co~, be instructed to investigate the matter as to the cost conditions and advisability of this work and use their best judgement in regard to the matter.also to make some arrangement in regard to the condition of Ferry St l?urchasing" . a new 1 qnch The Council decided to purchase an 1 inch Meter and a ~eter & yoke Meter yoke from the Neptune'Meter Co.Mr.Lindstrom being present representing the ~o. C01J1. instructed in regard to Storm Sewer and Sidewalk . e e e e Bills allowed meeting july 7th. continued The following were presented and on motion allowed.
