Meeting called to order by the Pres,at B,oClock P.M.l
I\!l.inuets of the last regular meeting J"ead and approved
State Mr,0calesrepresenting the State Highway Commission
Highway presented a set of Resolutions for the Council to sign in
Resolutionegard to the paving of Princeton Street from the Babcock
crossing to Grove street,changing the prEsent grade after
some discv.ssion it was agreed that tile Council meet'lIc'J!J:!i:Il!.-t

the situation over before si6ning the above mentioned
Resolutions,
Fermit furs,Johnson came before the Council and asked permission
given to o!?erate a Popcorn and Ice Cream wagon at the Park

Ordinance to License peddlers'there being no such ~icense
on record,The Cl,erk was instructed to corrELpond with the

samples of~.such Ordinances adopted by other Villages. .
mr,J.W.Clark proprieter of the Public camp ground asked
the Council for some improvements at saiJ grounds.on
motion the Council agreed to finance the operation to the
extent of FiftY(.50.CO) Dollars,.1..r.Clark to attend to thE:
work himself,
krs,Ray ~ng asked help of the COULcil for aid until she
could receive a Mothers .l:Jension from the Count~;
On motion a temporary relief was granted.of Fifteen (15,00
dollars a month until she procures said Pension,Clerk
instructed l.O draw an Order on the poor Fund fo!' same unti
further notice,
In the matter of vharles Jongnickel operating a Billiard
and Fool Room also BowliLg Ally,lie having failed to
procure a .License for same for 1929-30 ,5; 31-after repeated
notices' having been given him, b~' the Council and Village
fuarshal,the Clerk was instructed by unanimolis vote to send
send him a f).nal notice to the effect that if he did not

Frank T.White Village Atty,having been asked to paso his
opinion in regard to the Council signing Gontracts made
by the Elk River Power ~ light Co,for power and light
presented a lengthy report advising the Council not to
be in a hurry to make any Contract at present time but to
l8ave the subject open for competition, for the present
The New Contract presented b~~ the E.R,Power & Light Co,
being less farvorab~e to the Village than the old one.

Regular meet~g continued April 6th.1931-
John Blocker proprietor of the Cozy Cafe was instruc~
ted to furnish meals to Pat.Jinnen by the week until
further notice from the Council.meanwhile the Council
are endeavoring to have him sent to the hOllie for
febleminded.
