re20rt of the a~sn.which was read and placed on file.

a donation to aid in maintaining th( kemorial Park.on
~~tion duly made and declared carried the sum of 'went~;
]:Lve (25400C)dollars was donated for that purpose from the
e.eneral fund.
R.~.Dare u~naeer of the 1J.unicipal Band made ~ report of
the expense of operating the Band and asked for the amon-
nt of Three Hu.ndred (300.00) dolla,~' for their present
need. The ~lerk was instructed to draw an order on the
kusic fund for that pur~ose.
Charles. Roge;atz appeared before the Council and askeu
for a Permit to open the Fool Imll during the Diamond
Jubilee July 30-31-& Aue.1st.l?31-After ~o~~ di~cussion
in reeard to the subject.the followin~nction was made
Resolved that Gharle~ Roe;gatz b~T pa~"int', the SUlll of One
(l.co)and agreine; to abide by thE,; requirements of the
Ordina:u.ce in regard to 1'ool~JV~~~ls be granted a permit
as :r-equest ed .1vJ.ot i on dcclaredt\b~T the .l::rGs. Clerk ordered
to issue permit.
J . W. Clark manager of the Diamoy,d Jubilee ass!... came befoE
the Council and asked for a donation to aid in the produ
ction of the JPabilee.after considerable discussion in
regard. to the legalit;. of the matter,and getting the opi1\" 1
on of the Village Attorney.in regard to making such a
donation.A motion was made by Geo.Cornelius trustee that
the sum of Ty{o ....undred }t'ift~r( 250.00) dollars be donated
from the General Fund for Street decoration during the
celebration.~,..otion seconded b~T .J .F.Ludvik Roll call.

1'olice during the Diamond Jubilee.using his judgement in
regard to the number and disposition.
