The following Ordiriances were presented to the Council

Ordinance No.2~:_An Ordinance in regard to heedless or
Dangerous Drivir~,
The Village Council of Elk River do Ordain as follows: 4It
Sect ion 1: _ No person shall operate or hal t an~T
vehicle upon. the streets or highways of the Village of
Elk River carelessly or heedlessly ili disregard of the
rights or safety of others or in a manner so as.to endanger
or be likely to endar~ger any person or 'propert~;,
Section !+:_ Penalty. Any person violating any of the
provisions set farth in section One hereof shall be guilty
of a misdemeaLor punishable b~y a fine of not less than
Five (5.00)Dollars nor more than One Hundred (100,00)
Dollars or imIlrisonment for not less than five nor lIlore
than ninety days in the village Jail
