Background/Discussion Staff has advertised a Request for Proposal (RFP) for professional engineering services for the 2019 Street Improvement project. The RFP was advertised on the League of Minnesota Cities and the City or Elk River websites. We received 5 proposals which ranged in price from $98,296 to $338,000. Staff is recommending award of the work to Bolton & Menk, Inc. Upon the approval by the City Council, staff will work with the firm to finalize a professional services contract and begin work on plan preparation immediately. Financial Impact The total financial impact for engineering services associated with this project will be $98,296 and be paid through the 2019 Street Improvement project budget.
