Elk River Area Arts Alliance Update and Presentation
Laurie Beil, Elk River Area Arts Alliance Executive Director, is scheduled to make a
presentation to the City Council regarding general activities that are happening with the Arts
Alliance and the June 18-19 ArtSoup event. Annually the city contributes $10,000 to the Elk
River Area Arts Alliance for ongoing programs and to help assist with the ArtSoup event.
Attached for your review is an informational flyer on the ArtSoup event. This biennial event
is getting to be a very significant community festival and is gaining area-wide recognition
within the arts community.
