A Spe~ial meeting of the Village Council was held at
the Vouncil room kunicipal Building on ~uesday May 24tg

Fairbanks ~orse Co.St.Paul.alee 20 or more BUEiness men and

Meetingealled to order by the President at 8.30 P.M.
who stated that this meeting was called for the purpose of
listening to the report of the Fairbanks Korae Co.throug~.
. their Representative R.E.Brown in regard to installing an
municipal Plant in the Village for supplying Electricit7Y
for light and Fower for the Village. '
Mr.Brown presented a very accurate report of the pre~ent
situation,its net cost and expense of operation and thtan
proceeded to explain the Cost and operation of a Municifal
Plant.His rel'ort was very favorably listened to by the
business men. quite a number of questions were asked aud
answered by ~r.hrown.in a satisfactory manner.
The sentiment of the meeting seemed to be very favorable
in regard to installing attunicipal Plant. no action was
taken however at the present time.
