SPECIAL keeting of the Village Council
A Special meeting of the Village Council was held at the
CQUllcil room on Thursday July 21s1;,1932-
Present:- Donald E,Davis Pres,
Geo,Cornelius

Meeting called to order by the ~res,at 7.30 E.k.
The ~res,stated that the object of this Special meeting
Richardso~as to listen to the repo~t of the Committee a;pointed
En~ineer ~o secure a co>>petant ~ng1neer to make a surve~ of the
hi~ed situation as regards to erecting and maintaining a
~unicipal ~lectric ~lant in the Village of Elk River.
J.F.Flaherty chairman of this Committee reported that he
had made 'lui te a surve;;' of the situation and had made a
selection of Ralph W.Richardson Consulting Engineer
St,Paul Minnesota subject to the approval of the Council
fur,Ralph W.Richardson being present was introiuced to
the Council.and presented his experiance in his line of
business.After considerable discussion and 'luestioninb
by the vouncil the following Resol~tion was offereJ b~
Trustee Brown who moved its adoption.
Resolved:- that the report of chairman Flaherty be
acce.. ted and the bervice8 of Ralph W, Richardsoli be
secured to make all necessary estimates and surveys
for an Electric Plant.
