RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all CiV1C groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $2,000 donation from the Eddy Family
Foundation with the intent it be used for public safety purposes, other than normal
operations; and
WHEREAS, the Elk River Police Department purchased tactical gear in the form of a
ballistic shield for use by the S.W.A.T. team and other officers during "high risk" entries; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River
to acknowledge the support and commend the Eddy Family Foundation for their donation.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 2nd day of May 2005.
