SUBJECT: Authorization to Purchase Picnic Shelters
Item
Authorize staff to purchase park picnic shelters.
Summary
The 2005 park capital improvement plan includes $91,000 for picnic shelters. Staff has
received quotes for the shelters for Troutbrook Park and the Youth Athletic Complex.
Shelters are to be prefabricated, factory painted, all steel.
Staff is waiting on additional quotes for more shelters, but wishes to order these ones now
in order to have a shelter in place at the Youth Athletic Complex in time for a large
tournament in July.
