Deerfield Hill Park Update
Installation of the new playground at Deerfield Hill Park was completed on September 13, 2018. Staff
conducted removal of the existing playground structure and all materials were donated to Kids Around
The World Playgrounds. In addition staff conducted all site prep,replacement of the timber retaining
i wall, final grading and restoration. Additional work completed within the park included replacing the

parking capacity from 18 to 9 parking stalls and included the addition of a handicapped parking stall.
Additionally, the trail was reconstructed to meet ADA compliance standards for an accessible route.
Park staff is still awaiting quotes for concrete work to install three concrete slabs in the park for a picnic
table,park bench, and garbage and recycling bins.
