VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
September 15, 1965
Special meeting was held at the Village Hall on Sept 15, 1965 for the purpose of interviewing two
applicants for police officers, George Short and Donald Dorf. Members present Norris, Hudson,
Bartelt, and Briggs.
Norris acted as Mayor in the absence of Mayor Johnson. The Council talked to each applicant
separately. The clerk was asked to contact references of each applicant. The decision will be made at
the Oct meeting.
Meeting adjourned.
