SUBJECT: Excluded Bingo Request
The Sherburne County Agricultural Society has made application for authorization to conduct
excluded bingo July 14-17, 200S. Although this application is made to the State Gambling Control
Board, the City Council must approve the application prior to State approval.
An excluded bingo license means that the applicant will hold no more than 4 bingo events during
the year or in connection with a county fair or a civic celebration on 12 or fewer consecutive days in
a calendar year. This request is for the County Fair and will last for four consecutive days.
Action Requested
The City Council is asked to approve an Excluded Bingo request from the Sherburne County
Agricultural Society to conduct excluded bingo in connection with the County Fair from July 14-17,
200S.
