BACKGROUND: Per State Statute, delinquent services can be assessed to the property taxes for Water, Sewer, Stormwater, Trash, and qualifying Electric and Franchise Fee services. DISCUSSION: Attached is a listing of proposed assessments for customers with outstanding balances that still remain unpaid for the above noted services. The assessment total is $10,301.48. The City Council would need to approve the assessments and take them to the county for the actual assessment on the property taxes. The City Council will receive this listing to approve at their November 19 meeting, pending our commission's approval.
