6.1c ERMUSR 11-13-2018Elkltive*r=--:�:� Municipal Utilities UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING TO: FROM: ERMU Commission Mark Fuchs — Electric Superintendent MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: November 13, 2018 6.1c SUBJECT: Staff Update ACTION REQUESTED: None DISCUSSION: • Had 20 new house services. • Continue working on collecting data with the GPS for our ArcView maps as time permits. • Continue installing the infrastructure in Area 7 for the territory we'll be acquiring in 2019. • Continue to work in Areas 5&6 that we acquired from Connexus in September. • Finished making up the infrastructure in Miske Meadows 4" and 5" Additions. • Continue to remove poles that are located in the rear lot line in Otsego. This ongoing job is performed as a fill in between otherjobs as they come in. • Began work on the replacement of 16 poles that didn't pass inspection. This task will also be performed as a fill in between other jobs as they come in. • Finished with the installation of three phase underground primary and transformer for Jackson Hills Apartments; this is a 40 unit apartment located at Jackson Avenue and 6th Street. We also hooked up the temporary service at this location. • We had to change out two poles that were hit by vehicles; one was a single phase pole at Spike's Feed, Seed & Pet Supply on HWY 10, and the other one was a three phase pole on 165 1h Avenue near Cargill. • We had to do some minor work on poles that Mi-Tech was attaching fiber to in order to maintain the proper clearances. • Installed three phase underground primary and transformer at the Beaudry Garage at 6 1/2 Street and Proctor Avenue. • Installed the infrastructure for a single phase house service on Brook Road. • We had an overhead primary wire that was tom down at Plaisted Companies. The cause of the damage was due to a truck driver not lowering his dump trailer before driving through the area. • We had a single transformer that was struck in the Tall Pines Addition. • We bored in approximately 300' of 3" water main for the water department at Nile Place. • We had to de -energize Target and Sportech after hours so they could do some work on the inside of their buildings.
