A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
DECLARING THE SALE OF CITY PROPERTY
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
the Elk River City Council has received a request from the
adjacent landowner to purchase property described in Exhibit
A; and,
the City has reviewed the request and has determined the sale
of said property would not be in conflict with the City's
Comprehensive Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the City has determined the purchase price to be five hundred
dollars and no cents ($500.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Elk River, Minnesota approve the sale of property to Morrell Transfer
based on the following:
The sale of described property is to assist in facilitating industrial
development.
The property is considered a remnant from the improvements to 171st
Avenue.
3. A twenty-five (25) foot green space be preserved along 171st Avenue.

The sale price has been determined to be five hundred dollars and no
cents ($500.00).

The sale is contingent upon Morrell Transfer proceeding with
development of the site along 171st Avenue.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River on this 21st
day of July, 1997.
