A special 0 meeting 9f the Elk ~ver Village Councial was called to order by
Mayor Eartelt at 7:15 pm April 14, 1969.
Present were Bartelt, Hmson, Syring and McRae. Also present were Les Derr
and Milt Salk, Civil Defense Director. .
Subjedt of discussion was the erosion of the river bank behind the Guardian
Angels Senior Citizens Apartment Building. Mil t Dwyer and Dcm Norris we~e
present represen ting the Guardian Angels. '
Since the building was constructed entirely with Federal Funds it was de- 0
cided that the appropriate federal agency be contacted in regard to an
easement and payment for work needed to divert the flow of water and stop
the erosion of the river bank. Any further action was postponed pending a
decision from the Guardian Angels Foundation.
There being no further business, the meeting acijo~ed.
