A special meeting of the Elk River Village Council ef the Village of Elk River
was called to order by Mayor Bartelt on Oct. 7, 1970~ in the Council Room of the
Village Office Building at 5 :30 pm. Members were present as follows: Mayor
Bartelt, Councilmen Hudson, Syring, Micheau and Konop.

Diseussion followed on Larry Petersons application for the position of Clerk-Treas.
Agreeable to call Y..r. Peterson in to Oct. 19, 1970 council meetingat 9:\30pm for a
final interview and decision.

acceunt Mr. Garrison is resigning. Held in abeyance until we receive a reC01lUllen-
dation frem Les Derr.
Moved by Councilman Syring and seconded by Councilman Hudson, to renew tlte 3.2
ensale beer license at the Eagles Club. Motion u.naJIinously carried.
Mayor Bartelt reported that Fred Brentesen would demolish and maul to the dump,
