ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
November 3, 1956
The town board met at the court house as usual with all members present.

Oscar Engstrom had a talk with a contractor about the Lutz road and the contractor promised to try
and get at it this fall if Possible and if Not next spring for sure. Everett Rathbun and Orville Bernard
made two trips to the Ramsey town board meetings to try and work out a road between Hanks
Corner and the Leathers poultry farm. The Ramsey board felt they were in no financial condition to
do any work this year. So the matter was tabled.
A Mr. Bondus met with the board to get a Permit to build a business West of Elk River. The board
agreed that the property he wished to purchase and build on will be classified as Industrial Zone.
