Wage & Benefits Committee Update
ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize W&BC to award benchmarking consultant contract for up to $10,000.
BACKGROUND:
At the November 2018 commission meeting, the commission directed the Wage & Benefits
Committee (W&BC)to benchmark the management pay group and report back to the
commission at the December 2018 meeting. Per the direction of the commission,the W&BC
had requested proposals from three consultants.
DISCUSSION:
The W&BC has conducted an initial review the three proposals.The committee will potentially
interview each consultant. To expedite the process, the committee requests the commission
authorize the committee to select the consultant prior to the March commission meeting for an
amount not to exceed $10,000.
