Wage & Benefits Committee Update
ACTION REQUESTED:
Approve the Wage & Benefits Committee recommendation for benchmarking consultant.
BACKGROUND:
At the November 2018 commission meeting, the commission directed the Wage & Benefits
Committee (W&BC) to benchmark the management pay group and report back to the
commission at the December 2018 meeting. Per the direction of the commission,the W&BC
had requested proposals from three consultants.The committee narrowed the list down to two
consultants.
DISCUSSION:
The W&BC scheduled interviews with the two consultants to occur immediately preceding the
March commission meeting.The committee will provide a verbal update and make a
recommendation during the commission meeting.
