worked with Valley-Rich to get the main repaired. The water was off for roughly two
hours. We will have the street patched in the spring.
• The design for the Well #8 building has been completed. We are just putting the final
touches on the specs and hope to get it out for bid shortly.
• The backwash outflow pipe for Water Treatment Plant (WTP) #6 froze up causing the
well house to flood. There was roughly two feet of water inside the treatment plant. The
water operators were able to clean up the mess quickly reducing the damage caused by
the water. Master Electric was contacted to help clean up the motor control center.
They estimated that it will cost roughly$5,000 to repair the electrical parts that were
damaged by the water.
• The water operators have spent much of their time plowing snow and working on water
treatment plants.
