Community Education Catalog Collaboration
Over the past several months, staff has been meeting with representatives from the Elk
River School District Community Education Department to discuss possible ways to
collaborate on programs and services. One outcome of these meetings is an opportunity for
Parks and Recreation to market programs in one of the Community Education catalogs. The
first catalog that Parks and Recreation will have programs listed in will be send home with
students that attend schools in Elk River the week of March 11 and will feature upcoming
summer programs and events. Staff is very excited about this opportunity and hopes to look
at ways to expand the collaboration in the future.
