Action Requested
Discussion regarding the funding for architectural services for the police department expansion (garage
and upper level) and the upgrade and expansion of Fire Station 2 with a possible addition of a third fire
station to be located on the east side of the city.
Background/Discussion
In 2017 Council received a presentation from Five Bugles regarding a needs study for the Fire
Department and Police Department building expansion. Areas addressed in the needs study included; the
completion of the upper level and garage expansion of the police department and the remodel and
expansion of Fire Station 2 with a possible addition of a third fire station.
