ACTION REQUESTED:
Receive and file the 2018 Annual Distributed Generation & Cogeneration Report
BACKGROUND: Compliance with Minnesota Statutes 2166.164 Cogeneration and Small Power
Production, and Minnesota Statutes 216B.1611 Interconnection of On-Site Distributed
Generation, requires the ERMU Commission to receive the Annual Distributed Generation &
Cogeneration Report.
DISCUSSION:
Annually staff prepares and submits to the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission an update
that details the Distributed Energy Resources (DER) and Cogeneration Systems activity within
the ERMU service territory.The information provided in this filing includes: utility contact
information, number and types of existing systems, systems that have applied for
interconnection, and systems that have been removed from service.
The attached document summarizes the existing systems that are currently connected to the
ERMU distribution system. ERMU does not have any applications pending for interconnection
and no systems were removed in 2018.
