SUBJECT: Authorization to Advertise For WWTP laborer
The 2005 Wastewater Department budget contains funding for a new Laborer position. This
position would not be filled by a certified operator and would complete yard work tasks such
as snow removal, light maintenance, and assisting the operators as needed at the Treatment
Plant and Lift Stations. This will free up the operators to complete other tasks in a timely
manner.
This new position would be at Pay Grade 2, Step A, or $10.70 per hour. At this time, I am
requesting permission to advertise for this new position.
