SUBJECT: Excluded Bingo Request
The Elk River Rogers VFW #5518 Auxiliary has made application for authorization to conduct
excluded bingo July 4, 2005 at Orono Park. Although this application is made to the State Gambling
Control Board, the City must approve the application prior to State approval.
An excluded bingo license means that the applicant will hold no more than 4 bingo events during
the year or in connection with a county fair or a civic celebration on 12 or fewer consecutive days in
a calendar year. This request is for the 4th of July Celebration.
Action Requested
The City Council is asked to approve an Excluded Bingo request from the Elk River Rogers VFW
#5518 Auxiliary to conduct excluded bingo at Orono Park on July 4, 2005.
