Consensus for Elk River participation in a TH 10 Corridor Study and a potential TH 10 Corridor
Coalition
Background/Discussion
TH 10 Corridor Study – from Anoka County to TH 101
MnDOT, Anoka County and the City of Ramsey are finishing a TH 10 Corridor study that extends just
into Elk River near Jarvis Street. We have had discussion with MnDOT Metro and District 3 about
extending the study to TH 101. MnDOT has provided little guidance for how access along this stretch of
TH 10 should be handled into the future.
TH 10 Coalition
There has been discussion by some of the Sherburne County Commissioners about establishing a TH 10
Coalition. The coalition is still conceptual but we believe it is proposed to consist of participation by the
county, cities and chambers along the TH 10 corridor through Sherburne County. A coalition would help
stream line the message about important improvements or considerations on the corridor.
