A speciAl meeting of the Elk River Village COUhcil Was called to order by Mayor
B~rtelt at 5:30 pm, Nov. 3, 1971 in the Council Room of the Village Office Building.
Members VJere present as folloVJs: M"yor Bartelt and Councilmen Hudson, Syring, Konop
an€! otto.
Perronal intervieVJs were held with Darrell Sykes, applicant for the position of
Vtll!3ge Clerk-Treasurer and Darrell Mack, applicl'lnt for the position of street
lllaintenp,nce man.
Moved by Councilman Konop pnd seconded by Councilman Otto, to hire Darrell Mack
asJ:street ma.intena nee man, to be effective immediately, salary to be $3.?5 per hour.
Motion unpminouSly carried.
The Council met as a canvassing board for the purpose of canv!3ssing the results of
the Nov. ?, 1971 vill<1ge election. Moved by Councilman Otto flnd seconded by
Councilmqn Hudson, to accept the results of the electiono Motion unAminously ca_rried.
No further business, the meeting J'ldjourned.
