FEBRUARY 2$, 1972 NEETING
The regula.r semi-monthly meeting of the Elk River Village Council was called to order
by Acting Mayor Hudson, on February 2e, 1972 at 7:30 pm. in the Council Room of the
Village Office Building. Member were present as follows: Acting Mayor Hudson, and
Councilman Syring and Konop.
The minutes of the February 7, 1972 regular meeting were read. There were no addition
or correction and the rninutes were approved as read.
)( The Council ruled that Chief of Police Bob Olson would have to put in his regular shift
.. 'hours and that any part-time job that interferes \uth the regular duty coverage scheduled
hours will not be allowed.
Moved by Councilman Konop and seconded by Councilw~n Syring to authorize the Clerk-Treasurer
registration fee of 22.75 and all additional expenditures directly related to the Clerk
and Finance Officers Training Seminar to be held Harch 8,9,& lOth.1972.
Motion unaminously carried.
The Council reviewed the 1970 Police Car Specification and instructed the Clerk-Treasurer
to re-tyne them for the next council meeting.
Represenatives for Purdential Group Insurance submitted two employees group insurance
plan for the councils review. The Clerk-Treasurer was instructed to obtain a quotation
from .Minnesota l<ii with specification similar to Purdentials Plan 2.
