he ~)pecial l\!eeting of the Tak River Village Council W8S called to order by lvlayor Bartelt,
on April 6, 1972 C),t 7 :30 pm. Lembers were present as follo't'rs: 'Hayor Bartelt, Councilmen
Hudson, Syring and Otto. Village Attorney John ]'ilacGibbon, Village Engineer Bill lvlills
and Village Building Inspect.or Rex Oetinger were in at.tendance.
Purpose of the meet.ing to review the sevier interce;.:tor and sewage t.reatment. plant report
with the ViLla.ge Planning Comnd.ssion and The Elk River TmJn Board.
Planning Comrnission members in attendance as follows: D&n Bailey, Hichard Gongoll and
George Zabee.
!Clk River Town Board members in c~tt.endance as follovs: Earl Sctulke, Frank Hadsen,
Everett Specht, L;verett Rathbun, and. Irvin Iil01dendauer.
]v:r. Ivlills reviewed the sewer int.erceptor and. sevrage treatment plant report and the
various avenues that are open for this service such as annexation, annexation services
and. sewer districts.
It was the consensus of the Elk Fiver Town Boerd that they would have to call a Special
IJ!eeting of their To\'m Bo:rd for those property OI\'ners directly involved before any
decision could be attaind.
The Special I'ieeting was scheduled for April 25, 1972 at 7 :30 pm. to be held in the
Sherburne County Court House.
ihe fire contract with the Elk River Town Board was reviewed. The Board felt tha.t they
would like to review t.he cost figures of some of the surrounding area contracts before
making any decision.
