SPECIAL MEETING
ELK RIVER VILLAGE COUNCIL
AFTER HEARING ON SEWH...R EXPANSION
HELD AT SHERBURNE COUNTY COURTHOUSE COURT ROOM OLD BLDG.
May 8th 1972 at 11:00 pm.
The Special Meeting of the Elk River Village Council was called to order by Mayor Bartelt,
on May 8, 1972 at 11:00 pm. Members were present as follows: Mayor Bartelt, Councilmen
Bob Otto and Bob Syring. Village Attorney John MacGibbon and Village Engineer Bill Mills
in attendance.
Purpose of the meeting to review the results of the Sewer Expansion Hearing of the Elk
River Town Board Special Meeting.
Village Engineer Bill Mills was instructed to proceed with a sewer plant up grading and
expansion of the existing sewage disposal plant to include the expansion of the Industrial
Park, Nieal Larson Sewer District, and Marvin George Addition.v
In addition some excess capacity will be included to include the Archie Larson Addition
and the Sam Goodwin Apartments will be considered.
In conclusion the expansion should be adequate for 20 years with all expansion within the
existing Village Limits.
No further business, the meeting adjourned. .
