Background/Discussion
The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is planning to reconstruct US Highway 10 from
th
Xenia Avenue to 4 Street in 2021. As part of this project, MnDOT has agreed to construct the multi-use
trail along the south side of US 10 on behalf of the city. The trail will be constructed from Simonet Drive
to Lowell Avenue.
The reconstruction will includes corridor access changes, traffic signal upgrades (Upland Avenue and
Proctor Avenue), areas of curb and gutter will be installed and new roadway section.
