Background/Discussion
Sherburne County is planning to reconstruct County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 1 (Proctor Avenue)
from US Highway 10 to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad crossing. The county
anticipates reconstructing this segment of CSAH 1 in 2020, prior to the proposed US Highway 10
improvements in 2021.
The reconstruction includes access changes, the construction of left turn lanes at the newly constructed 6
½ Street, the construction of a southbound right turn lane along CSAH 1 at US 10, and the disconnection

of 6 Street to CSAH 1.
