Approval for Display, Sales and Storage of Fireworks License

Background
The applicant is requesting the renewal of a license to sell fireworks at retail within Walmart.
The applicant has paid all fees and successfully passed the inspection check by the fire chief.
The background checks have been completed by the Police Department but the police chief
is on vacation so he has not been able to review and sign off on them.
Action Requested
It is recommended that the City Council approve a Display, Sales and Storage of Fireworks
License to Walmart contingent upon a successful background check. The license is valid for
one year from the date of approval.
