Present: Chair Tina Allard (Elk River), Vice Chair Gina Wolback (Big Lake), Secretary Rachel
Leonard (Monticello), and Jennifer Nash (Buffalo)
Also present: 'Technology Consultant Bill Bruce
1. Call to Order— Chair Allard called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
2. New Business
a. Potential Office Lease— Bill Bruce introduced a lease for office space in Buffalo, MN to
be used by future employee(s) of the cable commission. The Employee Committee
recommended adding designated office space for improved employee oversight prior to
hiring a new producer later this spring. The proposed office space meets the needs of the
commission at a reasonable market price.
The lease was reviewed by commission treasurer Merton Auger and commission attorney
Bob Vose. Both were supportive of moving forward with the lease agreement.
Commissioner Wolback motioned to approve a 2 year office space lease between
the Sherburne Wright Cable Commission and Otto Associates, Inc beginning on
March 1, 2019. Seconded by Commissioner Leonard, unanimous ayes, motion
carried.
