Action Requested
Accept, by motion, the quote for the 2019 storm culvert replacement project by Burski Excavating, Inc.,
in the amount of $117,179.30.
Background/Discussion
As part of the annual storm sewer evaluation, staff noted areas of deficiency and have improvement
recommendations. The following four deficient culverts need to be replaced:

1. 223 Avenue Northwest at County Road (CR) 32

2. Troy Street between 198 Avenue and 201 Avenue
3. Lander Street between 19944 and 19980 Lander Street

4. 196 Avenue just west of Lander Street
Staff requested quotes on the storm sewer culvert replacement project to three companies and one
company provided a quote. Staff recommends authorization of the low quote received for the project.
Financial Impact
To be paid out of the 2019 Storm Water budget.
