Approve,by motion, the hiring of Jennifer Dengerud to the position of payroll specialist effective
September 17, 2019.
Background/Discussion
We went to market to fill our vacant payroll specialist position. We received 44 applications and offered
interviews to four candidates. Following background and reference checks,we recommend Jennifer
Dengerud for this position.
Ms. Dengerud's background includes 17+ years of experience with payroll in school districts including
Richfield,Metro Deaf School, and most recently the Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School District. She is
eager to begin work tomorrow.
Ms. Dengerud will be paid at step A of pay grade 3N. All pay and benefits will be consistent with city
Policy.
Financial Impact
This is a budgeted position.
