Resolution 19- 42
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River raised $4,247 from a liquor store fundraiser and silent
auction. Silent auction items were donated from Coors, Dahlheimer Distributing, and the
public with the intent of money raised to be used by the Elk River Fire Department for the
purchase of thermal imaging and detoxifying equipment for their gear.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Coors, Dahlheimer Distributing, and the
public for their donations.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Christianson , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers, Wagner, Christianson. Westgaard, and 0va11
and the following against: none , whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
