VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
June 25, 1906
At a meeting of the Board of Revisors of the Village of Elk River, held at the office of R.E. Dare the
following members of the board were present, viz:
Present: R.E. Dare, President; H.C. Hastings, Village Recorder; and J.L.A. Nickerson,
Assessor
Proceeded to look through and examine the Real Estate Assessments and listened to E.R. Halter in
regard to his assessment who finally decided that he had no grievance in the matter.

After carefully going over the assessments the board adjourned to meet tomorrow June 26 at 9
o’clock a.m.
June 26, 1906
The Board of Revisors met pursuant to adjournment and made the following changes in Real Estate
Assessments – viz – Frank L Frye reduction on sections in lots 10, 11, and 12 block 3 Thomas’
Addition reduced from $350 to $250.
Est Daois Strachuses in lots 11 and 12 block 3 in LOH Houltons Addition reduced from $350 to
$250.
After looking through and carefully examining the personal property list of the Village it was on
motion voted to make no changes in the personal property assessments as made by the assessor.
