ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
January 27, 1958
The Clerk called a special meeting of the town board at the court house. The purpose of the meeting
was to decide on whether John James was to move in some building or not also to act on a welfare
case of Robert Gardinier. All members were present.

It was agreed to let John James move the two houses into the township. John James intends to use
one for one year until he can build a new house. The other is to be used more as a permanent home.
When completed Morris Wilson is to inspect these houses. Elk River twps referred Robert Gardinier
to Anoka County for relief as they are residents of Anoka.
Meeting adjourned.
